GOMBAK, 27 November 2023: The fifth session of the 39th IIUM Convocation Ceremony celebrated graduands from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences (KAHS), Kulliyyah of Nursing (KON), and Kulliyyah of Pharmacy (KOP) today, at IIUM Gombak.Â
The session saw 672 IIUM graduands receiving their scrolls, comprising 280 graduands of Bachelor of Laws (LLB), 82 graduands of Bachelor of Laws (Shariah) (LLBS), 124 graduands of Bachelor of Allied Health Science, 79 graduands of Bachelor of Nursing, and 107 graduands of Bachelor of Pharmacy.
There was also the presentation of awards to the Kulliyyah level award winners conducted.
The presentation of awards went to the following AIKOL graduands:
- Muhammad Asyraf Hakimi bin Zaid received the Best Student (Overall) award.
- Luqman Bin Yahya received the Best Student (Academic) award.
- Anis Sufea Binti Ismail received the Best Student (Co-Curricular) award.
The presentation of awards went to the following KAHS graduands:
- Aisyah Syamimi Binti Mohd Razmi received the Best Student (Overall) award.
- Rina Kartini Binti Alhawari received the Best Student (Academic) award.
- Nurul Syafika Binti Yusriha received the Best Student (Co-Curricular) award.
The presentation of awards went to the following KONÂ graduands:
- Muhammad Mukmyn Bin Mohamed Najeb received the Best Student (Overall) award.
- Anis Ummirah binti Basri received the Best Student (Academic) award.
- Nur Aqilah Binti Mohd Abadi received the Best Student (Co-Curricular) award.
The presentation of awards also went to the following KOP graudands:
- Muhamad Aiman Shauqi Bin Muhamad Haslizan received the Best Student (Overall) award.
- Muhammad Naif Hafizin Bin Afdzal Rasif received the Best Student (Academic) award.
- Wan Aini Nasuha Binti Wan Rosdi received the Best Student (Co-Curricular) award.
The valedictorian speech was delivered by a graduate from AIKOL, Muhammad Asyraf Hakimi Bin Zaid.
The ceremony ended with a dua recitation led by the Administrative Office of IIUM’s Centre for Credited Co-Curricula (CCC), Ahmad Faris Khairy and the adjournment of the ceremony was declared by a member of the IIUM Board of Governors, His Excellency Mr. Ragai Tawfiq Said Nasr. ***
