GOMBAK, 4 April 2021: The Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences Students’ Society (IRKHSSS) will be hosting a manifesto forum on Monday (5 April) for the Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences to introduce their candidates to the voters in the coming IIUM Student Union (IIUMSU) Election.
The candidates for the Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK) and Human Sciences (HS) constituencies Hafizah Miszairi and Izzati Zakariah respectively, however, won uncontested when nominations closed on Saturday (3 April) afternoon and results were announced today.
Apart from introducing the candidates to IRKHS students, the forum is intended to allow the audience to express their views and to provide the opportunity for the candidates to explain their stand on the manifestos.
The forum to be hosted by the IRKHSSS at 8.30 p.m will be streamed live on Facebook Page, which can be accessed here. It will be moderated by the President of IRKHSSS, Anas Hayyan and former head of the Education Bureau of IRK Students’ Association (ISRAK), Ameer Faiqal.
This is the first student election for IIUMSU since its establishment in late 2019 and is scheduled to be held next Saturday (10 April) using the new online voting system iTasweet.
