The programme manager, Basyiruddin bin Hassan, and other members managed to gather 39 students as participants and all the students are from different kuliyyah, such as Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS) and Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE).

During the trip, one of the RTM staff, Mr. Wafi was given the responsibility to be the tour guide for the students.  The participants had the opportunity to look around the radio office and television studio.

They also had the chance to witness how Selamat Pagi Malaysia TV programme went live at the set. Hence, RTM allowed them to be on the TV screen for the last talking point.

Mr. Amran said, “The purpose of this educational trip is to see how media works and how it influences us to perceive things individually because media can affect and shape our thinking and mindset.”

IIUM Journalism Club is a society where non-Communication students who are eager to know more about journalism gathered and received advice from Mr. Amran. ***
