GOMBAK, 22 April 2018: Although everyone knows that Allah is their lord, yet there is an absence of realising the might and the majesty of that Lord when one continues to do sinning, according to Sheikh Junaid Bhaiyyat.
Sheikh Junaid Bhaiyyat was talking at a programme organised by Al Aqsa Friends Society pertaining to the Life of Yusouf (A.S) at Moot Court last Thursday (19 April) where it was attended by around 150 students.
The main objective of the talk was to extract live lessons from the story of Prophet Yusouf (A.S) which is said to have tremendous examples for every individual at every stage of life.
“The story of Yusouf (A.S) has timeless and multiple gems. It is like an ocean that has no shore.”
Sheikh Junaid advised his audience to constantly reflect and ponder upon the creation of the Almighty as well as upon the Holy verses of Quran.
He also reminded everyone to establish their prayers regularly. “Just as you follow a complete course instead of a single pill when you have a disease. Pray daily as it is the spiritual immune system of a believer and it will prevent us from committing sins or evil.”
Sheikh Junaid Bhaiyyat is an Indian scholar who is currently doing his Master’s programme here in the Department of Quran and Sunnah. ***
