Closure for MH17?

JUSTICE will be done, will be seen to be done and pursued until it is done for the victims and families of those on board Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 shot down over the eastern Ukrainian war zone on July 17, a year ago. All on board were killed, mostly holidaymakers headed for Indonesia and Australia with many children among them, making it an unmitigated tragedy and finding a solution to this puzzling aviation tragedy very necessary. Whoever was responsible for shooting the commercial passenger jetliner must be brought to book, but there is no obvious reason why anybody would want to shoot at it on purpose. At best, it was an accident and at worse, it is still an accident. Nevertheless, there is a need to identify the party responsible so that there will be, on the one hand, closure for the bereaved families and friends and, on the other, someone to be made responsible so that compensation can be paid, as happened when the United States shot down an Iranian passenger airplane.
