GOMBAK, 22 November 2025: AbdulHamid Abu Sulayman Kuliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) recorded a positive rise in the number of students who voted on Election Day, 19 November 2025, held from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

Around 2592 students cast their votes that mark a slight increase from last year’s 2350 voters (52.46%). This year, the voter turnout reached to 53%. It reflects that more students are becoming aware of the importance of the student representation and are willing to participate in the democratic process.

Among the various courses, Department of History and Civilization reported the highest participation at 71% while Department of Communication recorded the lowest at 35%. This suggests the need for improvement in encouraging Communication students to participate in future elections.
