Bringing the Community Together: IRKHSSS Champions League 2025

GOMBAK, 15 December 2025: AHAS KIRKHS and IRKHSSS officially launched the IRKHSSS Champions League, a two-day sports event aimed at promoting physical health, teamwork, and core Islamic values among 450 AHAS KIRKHS students. Scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2025, the league will take place at the Male Sports Complex (MSC) and Female Sports Complex (FSC), aligning with the university’s vision of holistic student development.

The IRKHSSS Champions League goes beyond being a fun and competition. It aims to serve as a platform for instilling moral values such as fairness, teamwork and respect. The programme supports IIUM’s vision of Tawhidic Epistemology by viewing physical activity as a form of worship and gratitude, encouraging unity and cooperation among students, and promoting excellence, discipline, and good character both on and off the field.

The programme aims to create a positive impact on students through the S.C.R.I.P.T. framework, which focuses on:

Sustainability: Encouraging long-term participation in healthy and active lifestyles.
Care & Compassion: Promoting mutual support through teamwork among participants.
Respect: Fostering sportsmanship, and mutual respect in competition.
Innovation: Inspiring creative approaches to game formats and event management.
Prosperity: Enhancing overall well-being and strengthening students’ sense of belonging.
Trust: Building confidence through fair play, transparency, and responsible organisation.
