Gombak, 1 June 2024: The Department of Communication of AHAS KIRKHS, IIUM, held a memorable closing ceremony for their internship program, Unleashing Potential: Empowering Students in the Multimedia Room on 28 May (Tuesday). The event was graced by the esteemed Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Syed Arabi Bin Syed Idid, a prominent figure in the Department of Communication.
In his inspiring speech, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Syed Arabi extended his heartfelt congratulations to all final-year communication students for their outstanding success in the program. He acknowledged the significant milestone they are about to embark upon by stepping into the professional world for their first internships.
“It’s understood that you will soon be working in an organization for the first time, which will be quite different from your class. Your boss will be different from your lecturer,” said Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Syed Arabi.
Emphasizing the students’ performance, he added, “All of you did well in this program. I hope you will continue to give your best when you go out and harness your leadership potential to thrive in the real world.”
