39th IIUM Convocation: IIUM confers degrees on 604 KENMS and KOS graduands

GOMBAK, 30 November 2023: The happy faces of Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) and Kulliyyah of Science (KOS) graduands were recorded yesterday (29 November), as they were about to receive their scrolls in the eighth session of the 39th IIUM Convocation Ceremony, at IIUM Gombak.

A total number of 604 graduands consisting of 454 from KENMS and 150 from KOS were conferred their Bachelor’s degrees at the convocation ceremony.

Honourable Dato’ Sri Dr. Syed Hussein Abdul Kadir, a member of the IIUM Board of Governors opened the session, as well as conferred the degrees.

The ceremony also bore witness of KENMS and KOS graduands who received Kulliyyah level awards marking the hallmarks of their academic excellence at their respective Kulliyyahs.

The award recipients were as follows:

KENMS Kulliyyah level awards:

1. Best student (Overall): Wan Najwa Aliah binti Wan Mohd Sufiyan
2. Best student (Academic): Nik Abdul Hafiz bin Nik Zainuddin
3. Best student (Co-curricular): Quratul Ain binti Azmi

KOS Kulliyyah level awards:

1. Best student (Overall): Muhammad Nur Syaiful bin Afrizal
2. Best student (Academic): Nadrahtul Aqilah binti Mohd Yahaya
3. Best student (Co-curricular): Muhammad Nazir bin Muhammad Nizam

Meanwhile, the valedictorian speech was delivered by Quratul Ain.
