GOMBAK, 16 January 2023: An Islamic perspective on the transformation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) in the Fifth Industrial Revolution or IR5.0 will be the highlight of the Islamic IMC Virtual Seminar scheduled on 20 January 2023, Friday via Zoom.
Organised by Communication Masters students taking the Advanced Integrated Marketing Communication course taught by Associate Professor Dr. Aida Mokhtar, Communication Department, the seminar will feature authors of the recently completed book Islamic Advertising and IMC: The Malaysian Perspective.
The seminar also invited participation from academics, practitioners, and students to engage and share their research on Islamic IMC .
IMC encourages consumers to aim for attitudinal, emotional, and behavioural responses when interacting with them in their preferred communication context. In a digital world, IMC is still arguably relevant and crucial for promoting products.
To encourage active participation, the seminar will adopt an informal approach through its session.
There will be 12 subthemes featured, such as IMC in Islam, IMC Theories, IMC campaigns, Media in IMC, Advertising as a Marketing Communication tool, Public Relations as a Marketing Communication tool, Sales Promotion as a Marketing Communication tool, and Direct Marketing as Marketing Communication tool.
For more information, please contact the committee member of the seminar at 018-374 9426 (Sr. Ayisha). ***
