GOMBAK, 15 March 2022: The 36th Convocation Ceremony’s seventh session held today at ICC Hall saw 413 graduands from two distinct Kulliyyah receiving their scrolls – Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED) and Kulliyyah of Medicine (KOM).
œThese two Kulliyah have made us well known as far as the world is concerned, IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak said in his speech.
He emphasised that KAED has always been supportive of the university, and that KOM persistently ensures the students safety and advises the university that we have survived the pandemic very well.
Six graduands received Kulliyyah Level Awards for both KAED and KOM.
The recipients of the Kulliyyah Level Awards are as follow:
Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED)
- Muhammad Afiq Hakimi bin Ismail (Best Student Overall)
- Wan Muhammad Hafizi bin Wan Mansor (Best Student Academic)
- Nurhanis Akmal binti Jumaat (Best Student Co-curricular)
Kulliyyah of Medicine (KOM)
- Muhammad Aqlan bin Mohd Zaki (Best Student Overall)
- Azaiyni binti Daeng (Best Student Academic)
- Muhammad Syakir Nabli bin Saipul Bahri (Best Student Co-curricular)
Tan Sri Dzulkifli in his proclamation of adjournment expressed his gratitude towards more than 600 IIUM staff, which included those from the Centre of Arts and Cultural Sustainable Development (CiTRA) who worked incredibly hard to ensure the success of the convocation ceremony.***
