GOMBAK, 19 December 2021: As the flood hit the Klang Valley and other parts of the country and situation became intense due to heavy rain, IIUM has come up with assistance to help the students affected by the flood.

The flood situation in Klang Valley was unforeseen with the sudden water level rising rapidly which caused closures of several main roads.

Not only that, as the heavy rain continues to pour nonstop, it has caused many people to be trapped in their own houses or in their own vehicles on the main road.

In addition, people faced power outages due to the flash flood that has affected several areas in the country.

IIUM Student Union is conducting a survey to collect data on students who are affected by the heavy rain. This is to assist with their needs during such difficult times.
