GOMBAK, 22 October 2021: The Communication Research Seminar (CORENA21) that will be held on 7 to 8 December 2021 is open to students who are interested to participate in the event.
CORENA21 is organised by Communication and Media Centre (COMET) in partnership with Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Prince of Songkla University International College.
Those interested to participate should submit their research papers to the organiser by 30 October 2021.
Their research papers must revolve around the theme: “Media and Communication in ASEAN: Living with COVID-19” with sub-themes such as media reporting, audience analysis, and media and society.
Participants must submit their abstract, including their photo and a short curriculum vitae (CV), to the official email comet@iium.edu.my with the subject – Abstract for CORENA21.
Participants will receive an acceptance notification by 5 November 2021 from the organisers as well as their own assigned unique ID.
Those selected must submit a 10-minute paper presentation video with the subject – ˜ID: Video for CORENA21 by 19 November 2021 to comet@iium.edu.my .
The format of the video is as follows: horizontal, 720pixels and MPEG4. This video will be shown during the presentation session at the conference.
The full paper should be submitted by 30 November 2021 to comet@iium.edu.my with the subject – ˜ID: Full Paper for CORENA21. Submission through email is optional.
Participants must also be present during the conference to present their paper. Meeting code and Zoom link will be sent to the participants a week before the conference day. The online seminar will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
A digital certificate will be given to all presenters within two weeks after the conference. Participants will also have the opportunity of getting their paper published in an edited research book published by COMET. ***
