GOMBAK, 14 October 2021: Our youth is the catalyst for future generations where they are the driving force and determiners of the direction of our country, as such, it is vital to ensure the approach taken in shaping the fate of our country.
The youth are considered as the vulnerable communities as their upbringings and cultures are totally different with the influence of technology. In order to do that, we have to understand their pattern, and dive into their thoughts.
Thus, a webinar Speaking Eye To Eye: œHelping Vulnerable Youth Thrive 2021 will be held in conjunction with this matter on Saturday (23 October) from 8.30 p.m. until 10.30 p.m. which will be broadcast live on YouTube Inspire Club (Streamyard).
It will feature two related speakers in this field – Madam Rosmawati Binti Zainal, the CEO of Raudhatus Sakinah, and Mohammad Rizan Hassan, the founder of Projek Belia Mahir. They will introduce the skills and methods needed to help the vulnerable communities, including how to manage and handle situations.
The webinar is aimed to provide IIUM and non-IIUM communities the exposure to the reality of the situation focusing on these vulnerable groups. It is free and open to everyone, and for IIUM students, star points will be provided.
Izzah Najihah, a member of Inspire Club will be the moderator for this event and it will be conducted in Malay.
