GOMBAK, 13 April 2021: Deputy Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkifli Hasan has officiated the launching of the KIRKHS Positive Values Campaign and the soft launching of the Gombak Sejahtera Engagement Team (G-SET) on Monday (12 April) live via the KIRKHS YouTube channel.
The KIRKHS Positive Values Campaign is organised by the G-SET where a series of positive value videos will be posted daily throughout the month of Ramadan.
“KIRKHS is always expected to play the leading role in uplifting the spiritual activities for our community in the campus,” Dr. Zulkifli Hasan said, adding that “the initiative to promote positive values by the Kulliyyah to our community starting this Ramadan is timely.”
He also said that he would suggest to other campuses to do the same and he urged to keep this campaign going beyond the month of Ramadan.
On the launching of G-SET, Dr. Zulkifli Hasan stated that the Kulliyyah has again proved that student empowerment is one way to educate the students.
He called on student societies to not only concentrate on student welfare but also look into creating positive values and giving back to the community socially, intellectually and educationally.
“The students must also champion other roles of universities, not only being the agent of change but to be the champion of change, Insya Allah,” he added.
Students were also encouraged to submit videos, posters and short stories on positive values to G-SET during the fasting month. ***
