GOMBAK, 25 November 2020: Malaysia today recorded a decrease in the number of positive COVID-19 cases with 970 new cases including five imported cases which sums up a total of 59,817 cumulative cases and 12,971 active cases.
Negeri Sembilan recorded the highest number of cases today followed by Sabah and Selangor. The five imported cases were from Romania with two cases from Pakistan and Indonesia, and Qatar with one case reported respectively.
Additionally, five new clusters emerged are Bajaru cluster (Sabah), Gangsa cluster (Selangor), Batu Tujuh cluster (Johor Bahru), Tanjung Bunga cluster (Johor Bahru) and Kerengga cluster (Terengganu).
According to Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham, 2,348 recoveries today has been added up to the cumulative number of recovered cases of 46,501.
Malaysia also reported four fatalities in that a total of 345 death cases to date since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
Of these, a total of 101 cases treated in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 47 cases that need respiratory assistance showing a decline in number than the previous day.
