GOMBAK, 17 April 2017: In conjunction with Lights of Arts and Culture Festival 2017, a competition on arts and culture theatre was held on Thursday night (13 April) at IIUM Main Auditorium.
Organised by the Students’ Representative Council (SRC), the competition was participated by Juragan Pentas, Projek Kawan Kawan, Xcapsim, and Not A Production, which was the only competitor from Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), IIUM.
œI dont know where the amazing idea came from, but all of the ideas are always astonished and beyond expectation, said one of the judges, Fazleena Hishamuddin, who was also known as ˜Indie Queen among local independent artistes.
The judges for the competition were Dr. Mardian Shah Omar from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Dr. Azman, from Institute of Teacher Education (IPG) Malay Language campus, Liyana œShan Aziz, a lecturer of English for International Communication (ENCOM) Department, and Fazleena Hishamuddin, a local theatre artiste.
