GOMBAK, 10 February 2016: Political Science Students Association (POSSA) has successfully held a Mass Gathering for Political Science students as its first event for this semester. The main objective of the event is to highlight the explanation of study plan for Political Science students to plan their schedule in future.
It was held at Mini Auditorium. The sessions started at 12.30pm and finished at 2.00pm. The event was organised by Muhd Said Radzi as program manager and other committee members in POSSA as well. He stated: “The event is targeted to introduce POSSA among new students and to create and strengthen the bond of brotherhood among Political Science students.”
The Mass Gathering for Political Science student was attended by the Head of the Department of Political Science, Dr. Tunku Mohar Tunku Mohd Mokhtar and Academic Adviser for Political Science Dr. Khairil Izamin Ahmad.
The first session saw the opening remarks by the Head of the Department in welcoming the new students and the second session saw a study plan and internship briefing presented by the Academic Adviser.
Dr. Khairil Izamin told the students with problem on planning their schedule and internship to come and consult with him in the department before making their decision regarding the study plan. He also highlighted on students’ plan to do internship and emphasised that it is better for them to do it on the third year, third semester, as the result of internship will be on first semester in next session.
Muzakkir Mohd Diah as President of POSSA, announced that there will be Internship Briefing with more detailed information by the end of this month.***
