GOMBAK, 10 February 2016: Four IIUM students have collaborated to create a platform called UNIMUF to enable all owners of car rental and transportation services in IIUM spread their business.
The idea of UNIMUF project started in October last year and its website construction has come to final stage since the UNIMUF launching was scheduled on 11 February.
The name of UNIMUF is the combination of words ˜university moving which symbolises the car rentals and transportation services.
The founder of UNIMUF, Mohamed Nadzri Mohamed Sazali, a student of Kulliyyah of Engineering, said the purpose of launching this project is to serve as a platform to benefit both the owner of car rental services and also the customers, most of whom are students of IIUM.
He added, œSince the platform is made for the students, the prices are all reasonable and affordable compared to the outside car rentals. We are still gathering the owners of those car to register with UNIMUF so that the customers can easily reach them.
Besides, the platform would give an easy and quick service. It also provides an opportunity for the students to involve in business. The registration is free of charge for the first trial.
