KUALA LUMPUR: Port operators NCB Holdings Bhd and MMC Corporation Bhd are discussing a potential synergy between their ports and logistics business, NCB Group Managing Director Abi Sofian Abdul Hamid said. The discussions were still at the œexploration stage, he said, adding that there would be a clearer direction within a month. œCollaboration with other ports is one of the ways to achieve higher handling volume whereby we have a target of 3.3 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) this year from 2.58 million TEUs last year.
