GOMBAK, 23 April 2015: Titian Wahyu Club had recently conducted a programme called ˜Engaging the Rohingya Refugees. This is a second activity of the Club as the first one was done with Madrasah Anak Yatim dan Tahfiz Hashimiah in Selayang.

Almost 16 members of the club participated the programme and became trainers to teach the children. The target group for this programme is children aged between 5 and 12 years old. Just like the first programme this time, the trainer had identified the children who can write or speak in Malay and English languages.

The children were divided into three groups. The first group were those who were still learning A, B and C while the second group was for children who can write and speak in a moderate manner, while the third group is for children who can write and speak well both in Malay and English.

Almost 80 children lived in a madrasah as the place was narrow and small. It was crowded.

The children were excited with the visit of the Titian Wahyu members. Since the children were divided based on their understanding of Malay and English languages, the trainers taught the children how to spell the words in a proper way and practise to write their name for the first group.

Both the second and third group were taught in different ways. The children also had a photography session and they were given a free meal for lunch. The team members left the place for Gombak campus at around 12 noon.
