KUALA LUMPUR: George Kent (Malaysia) Bhds net profit rose 2.19 per cent to RM7.22 million in the third quarter ended October 31 from RM7.07 million a year ago. Group revenue for the period jumped 33.6 per cent to RM96.03 million from RM71.85 million previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. For its nine months to date, George Kents net profit edged up 12 per cent to RM19.79 million, while revenue was down 1.48 per cent to RM235.93 million, from RM239.49 million a year ago.
