Brother Muhammad Fikri B. Ahmad from Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) was awarded recently the main prize for the Anugerah Menteri Pendidikan 2013: the Anugerah Tokoh Siswa.
The award carries a RM5,000 cash prize and a trophy. He too won the Anugerah Tokoh Sukarelawan Siswa and Anugerah Pemimpin Program Sukarelawan Terbaik, presented by YB Dato ‘Seri Idris Jusoh, Minister of Education II at the Taman Tamadun Islam, Terengganu.
The Anugerah Tokoh Siswa is the highest and most prestigious recognition introduced by the Ministry of Education in 2013 with the aim of producing wholesome undergraduates who not only excel academically but are also outstanding in the co-curricular sphere. The presentation ceremony for this year was organized by the Undergraduates Development Division of the Higher Education Department and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), as the host.
