GOMBAK. The inaugural IRKHS Solidarity Games saw the Communication Students Association (COSA) winning the overall medal tally.

The International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) played host to the IRKHS Solidarity Games or more commonly known as the IRKHS Traditional Games on Friday, 25th April 2014.

It was held at the Azman Hashim Male Sports Complex and involved a series of Malaysian traditional games, including that of Congkak; Batu Seremban; Galah Panjang; Tarik Tali; Tujuh Selipar; Lari Tempurung; Kaki Jin and Bola Beracun.

The event was the first of its kind following the recent appointment of the new IRKHS Student Society whereby all department’s student societies under the Kulliyyah were banded together in order to create a sense of unity among other things.

Each department from the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge & Human Science (KIRKHS) sent representatives to not only be a part of organizing the successful running of the event but as well as participate in the games.

Dr. Miszairi Sitiris, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs KIRKHS who officiated the programme had high hopes on the success of the new student body.
