GOMBAK: ENGIN FC has emerged as winners in KJ Cup tournament, after beating KAED FC, 3-0, following a penalty kick after ending in a draw.
œIt was a thrilling game, both of the teams are competing. We waited for the penalty result, said Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin before the game for penalty started. ENGIN FC dominated the pitch with a rather aggressive approach throughout the game.
Two yellow cards were given towards two ENGIN FC players due to foul play. It was a neck and neck game as both teams were competing to score a goal.
The champion won a trophy and RM 1500.00 amount of cash, while the 1st runner up brought home a prize of RM 1200.00. The 2nd runner up which was the Alumni FC brought back RM 700.00 cash and for the 4th place, the IRKHS fc managed to brought back RM 400.00 cash.
