This campaign was held from 21 to 25 October 2024 with a variety of exciting events.
The core mission of TBC was to introduce a positive and inspiring atmosphere across the university and highlight the fundamental role of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). By spreading the goodness and promote Islamic values, it might be the main aim of this campaign.
The opening featured the speech by President of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences Students’ Society (IRKHSSS), Nik Muhammad Badrain who emphasised the importance of the self in conducting individual and collective transformations on Bidaah Hasanah as reflected by the hadith, “He who introduced some good practice in Islam which was followed after him (by people) he would be assured of reward like one who followed it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect.”
The advisor of IRKHSSS, Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin underscored the critical role of individuals in world and societal development, while the Dean of AHAS KIRKHS, Prof. Dr. Shukran advocated the practice of personal and collective improvements through knowledge and values, through his speech. He said that we can all invite people to Islam as individuals capable of guiding and leading our community towards positive change.
The campaign invited every member of the university to be an agent of transformation, starting by making self-improvements and extending to broader societal improvements.
Bringing the Change campaign officially launched with the powerful message ‘Knowledge and values are the catalysts for meaningful transformation.’
Following the opening ceremony, students of AHAS KIRKHS delivered a powerful theatrical performance that beautifully captured the essence of Islamic teachings.
