GOMBAK, 8 April 2023: The brand ambassador of Wardah and influencer, Nur Hidayah Abu Bakar, visited the IIUM for the Tarhib Ramadhan Jama’i Iftar last week (1 April) as an honourable guest.
Dayah Bakar, also an IIUM alumna from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), emphasized to students the importance of having confidence and pursuing one’s passion while also using their skills and knowledge to impact their communities positively.
“My mission is to help people, which is why I want to reach out to people when I’m on television, spread positivity and as a TV host, I get to spread information to millions of people,” she said.
As it is the Holy Month of Ramadhan, Dayah shared her urge to make a difference by reflecting on her spirituality during this Holy Ramadhan season.
“Ramadhan is a chance and an opportunity that Allah has given us for us to do anything good, and we will be rewarded,” mentioned Dayah.
She also advised on how we could train ourselves to be patient, not only in restraining ourselves from taking food and drink but in everything by purifying ourselves in the month of Ramadhan.
In her concluding remarks, she advised everyone “to become the best version of ourselves and that one should not miss the chance to seize the opportunities during Ramadhan”
