GOMBAK, 17 August 2022: A total of 652 graduates from Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE) were urged to take pride as the inheritors of knowledge who have a different legacy, namely the legacy of Muslims in the past and Muslims in the future.
The message was conveyed by IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, during the conferment of undergraduate degrees in the seventh session of the 37th IIUM Convocation Ceremony yesterday morning (16 August 2022).
The Rector advised graduates to strive to benefit the people. He said, œDo not fear to create changes. In fact, be bold and be smart whenever you need to do so, transform the conditions and the people around you so that they have a better life.
In relation to science and technology which is synonymous with the Kulliyyah of Engineering, he mentioned about the Islamic Golden Age which was filled with talented innovators and scientists that led to current modern science.
