GOMBAK, 30 December 2021: The AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) has agreed to resume face-to-face teaching and learning in Semester 2, 2021/2022, effective 7 March 2022.
According to a statement issued by the Deanery today, the decision was made in response to concerns raised by the Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences Students Society (IRKHSSS) on the platform for teaching and learning in Semester 2, 2021/2022.
AHAS KIRKHS in its plan emphasised that all courses including University Required Course (UNICORE) such as MPU and UNGS will be held physically starting next semester.
In the event where the situation does not permit full implementation of face-to-face session, a hybrid mode of teaching and learning will be conducted where it will a combination of face-face and online meeting.
In ensuring the safety of both students and lecturers, several measures have been taken as announced in the statement:
- All academics, staff and students will adhere to the prescribed SOP.
- The number of students in class is reduced to a smaller number to observe physical distancing measure.
The students of AHAS KIRKHS are also expected to be fully on campus to experience comprehensive teaching and learning. This includes collective understanding, a proper consultation between lecturers and students, library usage, internet facilities, and other teaching and learning privileges on campus.
In light of the recent statement, international students are encouraged to properly plan their return to the campus accordingly.
All students of AHAS KIRKHS are also advised to start planning about courses to be registered during the online pre-registration as classes will be limited.***
