Public speaking competition to coincide with World Mental Health Day

GOMBAK, 5 September 2021: The IIUM Counselling and Career Services Centre (CCSC) has organised the IIUM Young Motivator Competition (IMAC) to coincide with the Grand Mental Health Month Programme at the university level. 

The competition is also on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day on 10 October that is celebrated annually.  

This public speaking competition is open to all IIUM undergraduate students from all branches including Gombak, Kuantan and Pagoh campuses. 

Meanwhile, the participants must adhere to the competition’s format by speaking in Malay as the official language.

Before the participants can enter the grand final stage, they must first pass through four stages. The top two winners will compete in the national competition on behalf of IIUM.

Participants also have the option of selecting one of the two titles to be presented during the competition:

“Motivation related to Covid-19” or “Inspiration motivation.”
