GOMBAK, 14 August 2021: International undergraduates and diploma students are invited to participate in the International Design Competition for Science and Engineering Students (IDECHETS) competition organised by Chemical Engineering of Sebelas Maret University, Indonesia for ECODAYS 2021.
Participants are expected to produce eco-friendly products or technologies and their use in facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0).
With the theme ‘Optimising Performance of Eco-Technology to Support the Industrial Revolution 4.0’ and sub-themes ‘Eco-energy’, ‘Waste Treatment’, ‘Food Technology’ and ‘Eco-IoT’, the competition will not only offer special prizes for first, second and third places, but also for the Best Poster and Best Presentation.
To join the competition, participants must be full-time university undergraduates or diploma students and form a team of three with students from the same university. Participants who have already signed up cannot be replaced with new participants.
Students who wish to participate have to submit an abstract addressing problems and solutions, product concept, and product feasibility analysis by 5 September 2021.
The team with the best abstract will be announced on 19 September 2021 to enter the next stage which requires participants to submit a full paper by 10 October 2021. Selected participants need to re-register and pay a registration fee of IDR 200.000,00 for Indonesian participants and $25 USD for international participants.
The team with the best writing will be announced on 24 October 2021 to enter the Grand Final Stage that will be held from 16 November to 28 November 2021.
