“Am I to be blamed?” Topic for next #YouMatter series

GOMBAK, 14 July 2021: The second series of #YouMatter hosted by IIUMtv will be held on Thursday (15 July) from 9.00 pm until 10.00 pm on the topic ‘Am I To Be Blamed?’ which will discuss on the struggles faced by individuals with mental health issues in their everyday lives. 

Challenges in knowing when to reach out for help, living up to family expectations, and managing anxiety and fears, are some of the difficulties people living with mental illnesses experience, which will be the focus of discussion in the upcoming event. 

The speakers for this second series will be Madam Masturah, a counsellor from Counselling and Career Services Centre (CCSC), Nizam Mustapha, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Anxiety survivor and Kak Ngah @ Alia Ali, the founder of Awareness Against Suicide (AWAS) Malaysia who is alos the president of ZuriatCARE charity organisation. 

All IIUM community are welcomed to participate in this event by watching it live on IIUMTV’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
