GOMBAK, 22 June 2021: The President of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar has officiated the launching of 30 books authored by academicians from Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS) during Takreem 2021 and TACK 2020 held virtually on Monday.
Also present during the launching were the Rector of IIUM, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, the Dean of the Kulliyah, Prof. Dr. Shukran Abd Rahman, Deputy Rector (Student Development and Community Engagement), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments and staff.
During the launching, Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar expressed his endless gratitude towards each of the important persons who have contributed significantly in their own ways.
Therefore, he hoped that more new faces and recipients will be added in the upcoming Takreem celebration as this is a good sign that members of the Kulliyyah are embracing the culture of Fastabiqul Khairat (competing in goodness).
In the same event, KIRKHS also celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Kulliyyah along with Takreem 2021 by honouring the winners.
œI would like to congratulate the Kulliyyah for these two special great occasions and I pray that the Kulliyyah will continue to serve the ummah, Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar said in his speech.
