EPOSI 2021: Dialogue to enhance management and quality of students’ clubs

GOMBAK, 18 April 2021: A dialogue on “Epitome of Skills Intra-University” (EPOSI) to enhance management and quality of students’ clubs was held on Saturday (17 April) to give exposure for students from the different clubs to learn from each other’s experience.

Organised by the Bureau of Research and Development of INSPIRE Club, IIUM, the dialogue was held in conjunction with Inspire Week (17-23 April).

The dialogue was aimed to enable club members to exchange opinions, ideas and suggestions between clubs under the Centre for Community Engagement and Services (CENSERVE) and Student Affairs and Development Division (STADD).

Representatives from each club carried out their presentation focusing on backgrounds, missions, experiences and club’s management structure to introduce their respective club to other participants.

In the discourse, all the clubs shared their insights on their respective club’s module. Members from the different clubs exchanged ideas and shared their perspectives on the modules followed by Q & A session to further explain the modules used by their club.

A discussion was also held among clubs’ mainboard members to discuss, among others, issues and problems related to management, online programmes, membership recruitment and activities.

The clubs involved in the programme are Inspire Club, STEADFAST Club, Student Facilitating Front, Misi Club, Gemilang Club, Titian Asli Club and Perkim Club. 

Concluding the dialogue, the host Amer Deen said:“There is no club that is better than the other and all clubs need to work together to achieve success despite having different missions.”

The dialogue conducted from 9.15 a.m. until 2.45 p.m. on Saturday (17 April) through Google Meet was attended by more than 40 participants.***
