PETALING JAYA, 20 February 2021: The Higher Education Institution (HEI) Entrepreneurship Action Plan 2021-2025 will place importance on the formation of entrepreneurial ecosystem that is synergistic and holistic as well as the construction of high-impact entrepreneurship concerning numerous strategic parties.
Launched on Friday (Feb 19) together with the ministry’s Guide to Entrepreneurship Integrated Education (EIE), this action plan which also highlights innovative and technology-based entrepreneurship, is aimed to produce graduates who are capable to undertake the challenging digitalised world.
“The manuscript outlines new strategies and approaches in a more holistic and robust way, taking into account the development of global and domestic scenarios, and the potential for future opportunities,” Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad said.
With the empowerment of innovation and technology elements in entrepreneurship in line with the latest technological developments such as e-commerce and robotic engineering, it helps to enrich students with added values.
As for the EIE, the guide puts significance in coordinating the curriculum with the real business world including experience and problem-based learning.
This action plan that celebrates the formation of entrepreneurial ecosystem between academics, the industry, the government and the community is the latest continuation of the ministry’s previous roadmaps – the HEI Entrepreneurship Action Plan 2016-2020 and the Entrepreneurship Strategic Plan 2013-2015.***
