GOMBAK, 27 November 2020: Malaysia has reached a total of 61,861 confirmed cases with 1,109 new cases reported today of which 10 are imported cases and 1,099 locals.
There are currently 11,307 active cases including 41 intubated cases and 113 cases in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Woefully, two new deaths were reported today which made a total of 350 deaths.
Of these, a sum of 50,204 cases have recovered including 1,148 new cases that have recovered today which are 81.2 percent of the total cases.
All states have reported new cases excluding Perlis, Terengganu, Malacca and Sarawak. Cases in Sabah are still the highest number of daily cases with a current number of 27,679 with 441 new cases.
Selangor on the other side, holds the second highest number of daily cases with 175 new cases today which consist of 99 cluster cases and 47 from close contact. Hence, it sums up the total to 13,029 cases.
According to the Ministry of Health Malaysia, there are new clusters reported today which are Jalan Tuaran Cluster, Jalan Haruan Cluster, Tapak Bina Puteh Lama Cluster and Beringin Cluster.
Other than that, the Ministry has urged people to follow the SOPs, avoid 3Cs (Crowded Places, Confined Spaces, Close Conversation) and practice 3Ws (Wash, Wear, Warn).***
