GOMBAK, 9 July 2020: A guideline on alerts for all students regarding Room Clearance and Mahallah Checkout Procedure has recently been issued by the International Islamic University Malaysia to guide them on the whole process.
The allowable date for this process is from 6 July 2020 to 17 August 2020, during weekdays only from 9.00 a.m. to 5 p.m daily.
The notice issued explains the steps that each student should take from the time they enter the campus until they return home. All students are required to follow the guidelines provided to avoid any problems during the Room Clearance and Mahallah Checkout period.
Students have also been reminded to keep their distance by doing social distancing, wearing face masks as well as keeping hygiene clean and regularly wash hands during the cleaning process. This is to avoid any risk of transmission of the Covid-19 that is still affecting our country.
One of the important things for students who want to enter IIUM for the purpose of Room Clearance and Mahallah Checkout is to download MySejahtera and iAttend applications to facilitate entry and exit through every gate maintained by the Office of Security Management (OSeM), IIUM.
Students have been advised that if they do not perform Room Clearance and Mahallah Checkout before 18 August 2020, they will result in Live in During Vacation (LIDV) charges per day by the Mahallah.
