GOMBAK 27 June: Hundreds of people flocked the IIUM Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque today to attend the Friday khutbah (sermon) delivered by Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan, a prominent CEO of Bayyinah from the United States. The audience included people within the IIUM community as well as outsiders from Klang valley.
A status was updated by him on his official Fan Page informing his half a million followers about his appearance at SHAS mosque. “Last day in KL. Khutbah at 1:15pm at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak. InshaAllah.” he said.
In his lecture, he spoke about Ramadhan and encouraged the audience to improve themselves to become better Muslims as an individual as well as an Ummah.
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan has been in Malaysia for the past several days for his Divine Speech seminar which aims to highlight the literary beauty of the Qur’an to the general public in Putrajaya.
Since then he has been going to a few other places to deliver his lectures. IIUM SHAS Mosque was his last pit stop before leaving the country.
