Planning is the way to enjoy our workload.

As a student, tons of workload have sometimes put us in the state of stress. Running through hectic weeks and meeting deadlines is not an easy thing to deal with. Staying up until late night is common for us in order to complete our task or to get our assignments done.

Sometimes we don’t sleep throughout the night if the submission of assignments is the day after. I might be generalising the situation, but based on my observation, most of my friends, including myself, seemed to be like that.

The main reason of this problem is that we love to procrastinate. We tend to postpone our task until the last minute. In order to solve this problem, we are the one who is responsible to change our habit. Not others.

Rather than thinking of stressfulness over our task, why not try to enjoy every assignment and task given to us? Try to love our work and do it calmly, hopefully this will make the outcome very nice.

So, the key to enjoy our task is to have a good plan. Planning properly our day can make our life more systematic and avoid us from being too stressful or fatigue.

Here are the tips that you can do in dealing will tons of workload and assignments:

  1. List down every task and the deadline, so you will know which one needs to done first
  2. Plan your week. Every Sunday, try to go through what you have done last week and what you need to do in the upcoming week. Examine from the class that you missed to the expected lesson that you will learn for the coming week.
  3. Be aware with the test, submission, and quizzes. In the beginning of semester, lecturers will brief us about this. So, be aware and get ready every time.
  4. Know your priority. Get your task done first then reward yourself by watching movie, indulging in your favourite books or hanging out with friends.
  5. Keep consulting with lecturers so you know where your strengths and weaknesses. If you get your task in the last minute, the chances to consult will lecturer is low. So, keep in your mind the earlier you start your task, there will be more time for you to fix it.
  6. Be positive and keep calm. This will help us from burnout.
  7. Enjoy your journey.

We are the ones who are responsible to ourselves. Nobody else can change us if we still refuse to do so. Enjoy your journey as a student and live your life to the fullest. Good luck in your studies. Enjoy doing your assignments too and take pride in whatever thing you do. ***
