GOMBAK, 25 June 2019: The Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS) expressed its deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Muhammad Fuzi Omar, former Deputy Dean, Academic Affairs and Industrial Linkages, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, this morning (Tuesday) at 7.00 a.m.
“We pray that Allah SWT in His Infinite Mercy grants Allahyarham manifold blessings and forgiveness; and that Allah SWT includes his souls as one who deserves His Clemency and Rewards in Al-Jannah,” according to a quote from whatsapp message by KIRKHS.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Maszlee Malik, who was also a former IIUM lecturer, had also conveyed his deepest condolences on the passing of his friend, Dr. Muhammad Fuzi Omar, through his official Instagram account.
“Just a few days ago I was visiting him. This morning around 7 a.m, I was informed Dr. Fuzi Omar has returned to rahmatullah. He was a very good friend of mine while first on duty in IIUM. The departure of this good friend reminds me and all of us that death is closer and God will invite anyone that He loves to meet Him immediately. The same we remit his prayers as much as him. His contribution as an educator has given a lot to give birth to human beings. His departure certainly affects us all,” according to a quote from an Instagram post by Dr. Maszlee Malik. ***
