The event was held last Saturday (2 March) at the Male Sports Complex ground with the objectives to enhance teamwork among the participants, to improve their social and analytical skills, and to promote ukhuwah among students and lecturers.

Not only that this event had successfully brought joy to every participant, it also helped reduce stress among the participants from the load of assignments and coursework.

Moreover, the participation of the lecturers in this event had created the atmosphere even merrier, filled with supportive vibes. It was such a fruitful team building event led by the programme manager, Muhammad Hafizi Hussin and supervised by its newly appointed advisor, Madam Nur Shakira Mohd Nasir.

The event was held in collaboration with other associations and entities within the Department of Communication such as IIUMToday, IIUMtv, IIUM.fm, and the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Student Association – IIUM Chapter that saw participation of a total of 45 students.

The participants enjoyed several games that were specially organised for the event by the committee which brought the participants together to interact with one another and build cordial relationship.

The programme which started at 8.00 a.m ended at around noon with prize giving to the winners, and participants feeling happy to be able to build the team spirit and bridge the gap they might have earlier among them.

Before dismissing themselves, the students took their responsibility seriously by cleaning the place as this was to remind them to maintain a clean environment in line with the good values taught by our religion.

The programme manager expressed the hope that a similar event would be held every year to keep their bonding stronger. He also said he wished to collaborate with all associations again in other events in the future. ***
