HAMKA “Teroesir” theatre a success as it touches the emotion

GOMBAK, 23 November 2018: The theatre, “Teroesir” based on a masterpiece by popular philosopher and writer HAMKA (Hj. AbdulMalik K.A), succeeded in making the audience shedding tears towards the end of the show as many were touched by the acting as if it was real.

The theatre has reached its objective to showcase the infusion of Islamic values in theatre. The importance of love and religion was highlighted and the message was very clear.

“Teroesir” was staged at Main Auditorium on 19 and 20 November had drawn full-house audience due to Islamic values filled with Quranic verses and hadiths displayed by the actors. It was organised by Kshatriya Production in collaboration with Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) UIAM.

“The idea is beautiful and the message is clear,” said Nadhira Farlina in her twitter message tweeting her  feedback on the theatre.

The theatre attempted to portray messages on problems that arise in this present time regarding Islam, which had received positive feedback from the audiences. There are some among theatre lovers who came on both days to watch the theatre. It was “worth watching”, according to the President of Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS), Haji Zambri Mohd Isa, who also came to watch the theatre on both days. ***
