GOMBAK, 22 October 2018: Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung Club (GPMS) is determined to organise a humanitarian volunteerism programme in Cambodia for the third time this year with the targeted sponsorship of RM15,000 ultimately by next week.

The mission known as ‘Misi Tautan Kasih Kemboja’ will be held in mid-semester break for one week aimed to improvise pre-school facilities there with participation of eight volunteers who had been selected to be led by a mentor.

With the tagline “Their smile, a Thousand Meaning for us” they are encouraging the IIUM community to be concerned about education facilities there through three donation packages, which included stationery, books, and tables.

Those sincerely wanting to make contributions to the programme may do so through Maybank account number: 164061801379 (Siti Nur Syaza Aisyah) or follow the official Instagram: @MISICAMBODIA.

GPMS is a federation for Peninsular Malaysia students. The club in IIUM was set up in 2006 and its membership stood at 100 this year.***
