GOMBAK, 25 April 2018 – CiTRA Recital 11.0 will be conducted this Saturday (28 April) starting from 8.00 p.m until 11.00 p.m. at Richiamo Café courtyard, IIUM.
According to its Secretary, Sarah Kim Omar Kim, the selected tagline for this year’s recital, ‘The Hymns and Drums of Culture’, portrays the combination of all instruments and music that will produce beautiful harmonics on the night of the event.
This annual event organised by the Centre for International Islamic Culture (CiTRA) will uphold the Malay tradition as their theme for the recital.
In conjunction with this event, the musicians’ team will have their flash mob on 25 and 26 April nearby the riverside at 1.00 p.m.
On that night, there will be performances from 12 cultural-based societies under CiTRA which will perform various kinds of delightful cultural performances. Sponsored by Richiamo Café, this event is free admission for all members of the IIUM community.
