Flash flood in IIUM

GOMBAK 6 June: Heavy rain today caused massive flooding in some parts of the IIUM campus in Gombak. Flooding was severe at the KAED and IRKHS riverside areas. The floods subsided by 5 pm.

Roads in the university’s main campus were temporarily closed due to the flash flood that occurred at about 3.00 pm.

The flash flood started when the heavy rain poured down in the late afternoon.

Several cars were damaged after submerged in the water for a few hours.
