GOMBAK, 30 October 2017 – Pride, disgust and loneliness are embodiments of the voices in our heads, further burying us within conflict after conflict.
ELITS Theatre Night (ETN) is back with a theatrical reminder to touch on the importance of being able to feel certain things and why they are all important and acceptable.
The Secretariat of English Language and Literature (ELITS) IIUM will hold their annual theatre night with a theme “Unity in Diversity” on 9 and 10 November at 8.00p.m. at the Experimental Hall where a play called “I, Me, You” will be staged.
Tickets, on sale at RM6 for students from any university, and RM10 for members of the public, can be purchased at HS Square where ELITS has opened a booth. Students can also get three tickets for RM15.
The theatre’s programme manager, Wan Nurnisa, highlighted that there will be a different take on the theme. She said that although “Unity in Diversity” is very familiar and close to our society, the play is addressing issues and conflicts within our own selves with diverse qualities who are yet to find meaning in life.
Any updates will be posted on @IWLFestival twitter page.
