Appreciate your parents while you can

What is the saddest thing that happened in your life?

Some said losing your girlfriend or not getting a good CGPA or results, however, I think the saddest moment in your life would be seeing your parents and family getting old. You know why?

It’s sad when the last time you met your parents and family they were still middle-aged and the last time you met them, they probably were having some or full black hair. Now when you see them, they’re full of grey or white hair, and wrinkles on their faces. Although you’re given more autonomy to do what you want, but think about it.

Their time is running out and your life is about to enter the real life from this ‘trial’ period. Soon, your parents will not be sponsoring your life anymore. You’re gonna get a job, you’re gonna find the love of your life, you’re gonna have kids. And what else soon? Faster than you think, they’re gone.

Maybe some of you wouldn’t understand this because you live near your parents, so you don’t see this transition happening. But since I live far from my parents, I do miss them once a while, because if they’re gone, you have no one to cry to, no one to express your feeling.

And soon, you know that you’ll face this world alone and if you’re lucky, you’ll have your wife or husband to be with you, but then, there’s some stuff you’ll never be able to explain to your significant other.

My advice is, spend your time with your parents if you still have them. Because once they leave you, you’ll have to stand alone and you’ll face this world all alone.

Therefore, it’s good to appreciate our parents and spend as much time as possible with them. Do find the time.***
