GOMBAK, 15 November 2016: Students’ Representative Council (SRC) finally took the first step to support IIUM security authority, the Office of Security and Management (OSeM), as an initiative to make IIUM a safe place for everyone.
After a series of flasher and theft cases reported for the past few weeks, the SRC came out with a voluntary project called ‘IIUM Heroes’ where male students will be placed at certain areas and at a specified time.
The volunteering project that just started last night is calling for male students to be a part of the team, who will be patrolling around the places in campus that are believed to be hot spots for flashers and theft cases during night time.
