GOMBAK, 6 November 2016: A youth volunteer club called Superheroes Movement has started collecting books at HS Dry Area starting on Tuesday (1 November) until the end of November.

The books collected will be sent to Perkampungan Orang Asli located at a far distance from the urban area around peninsular Malaysia. The aim is to provide a mini library for the Orang Asli community.

According to Najwa, the co-founder of Superheroes Movement, the idea is to provide educational support for the aborigines community especially the children. “I believe reading books is the cheapest way to travel the world,” she said.

In conjunction with other organisations including 4WD truck team, their mission is to increase educational outreach especially towards the Orang Asli  to make sure the community have the idea of the world outside their village.

Superheroes Movement is an NGO youth volunteer club which was founded a year ago. With a vision of putting fun in volunteering, this movement is to encourage the act of volunteering among youths.
