GOMBAK, 20 April 2016: Showing concern on the personal health and wellbeing of the IIUM community, Communication students taking Organisational Communication: Case Study class has taken the initiative to promote awareness on the importance of health through a health campaign under the theme, œGet Healthy: Move Forward.
This one-day exhibition will be held on 27 April from 9.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. and will take place at The Square, Human Sciences building.
With the aim to raise awareness and healthy lifestyle among IIUM students, this #GetHealthy Exhibition is in collaboration with many health organisations such as the National Heart Institute, National Cancer Institute and QS Khaula Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The highlight of the event includes a health talk at Mini Auditorium, IIUM. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Beni Isman Rusaini, a well-known cardiology clinical specialist from National Heart Institute of Malaysia, with free consultation and medical check up, and distribution of free breakfasts starting from 8 a.m. to 50 early birds that come to the event.
Aside from that, there will also be mini-games at #GetHealthy Exhibition such as penalty kicks, snakes and ladders, and giant pyramid.***
